O2AA is hosting TOWN LIFE, a free, public Ecofutures Festival featuring community installations, art performances, fun workshops, panels, music performances, food trucks, and maker booths presented by our friends at Loud Spring and sponsored by the city of Oakland, programmed in partnership with Eternal Now for the music lineup, and Oakland Garden Club's founder Alexis Madrigal for some of the panels. 

This 3-part Ecofutures Festival will celebrate the ecology of our town, gathering local community leaders, artists, and neighbors around the radical imagination it takes to envision a positive, collective, and environmental future for Oakland.

FIRST EDITION: LAND
April 20th, 2024 -  11 to 9pm

The programming of our first edition will focus on the thematic of the land, Oakland, unceded territory of Huchiun.

SECOND EDITION: WATER
May 18th, 2024 -  11 to 9pm
The programming of our second edition will focus on the thematic of water, our coast.

THIRD EDITION: AIR
June 15th, 2024 -  11 to 9pm
The programming of our third edition will focus on the thematic of the air we breathe.

Each event will pose one key question: How do we imagine the ecofutures of the town?
