Inspired by the California coastline, its abundant and diverse local species, and our own commitment to ethical, sustainable solutions for humans and our environment – we founded Salt Point Seaweed in Spring 2017. Named after Salt Point State Park – a 6,000 acre “wild and beautiful meeting of the sea” – we are proudly shaping the concept of ocean to table. We forage, farm, and research along the California coast to offer the highest quality seaweed, responsibly sourced from the ocean.
Salt Point Seaweed is Avery Resor, Catherine O’Hare, and Tessa Emmer — a three woman team with backgrounds in coastal ecology, sustainable agriculture, and food systems. Check out our products our website!
